I've been having treatment for quite some time for heroin addiction through CGLs methadone programme although it's been a hard slog because of my other disabilities both mental (acute anxiety) and physical conditions (scoliosis and acute asthma, osteoporosis and other age related illness (I am in my 70s, so no spring chicken any more).
Because of the treatment and help I received from CGL and wonderful help from Ollie my case worker, I found myself in a position and a lower enough dosage of methadone to give up the treatment and finally come off it all together, knowing that if I failed CGL were there to step in and help me.
It's been nearly 3 months since I had any methadone and have not felt the need to use any street drugs at all, I still suffer from acute anxiety and am being treated for that by my GP and mental health group.
I can't praise CGL too much they probably saved my life, Keep up the good work and thank you sincerely for all your help and support.
