"Extreme toothache"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Emergency Dental Treatment Centre Level 1 NHS 24 / Scottish Emergency Dental Service

(as the patient),

I had been suffering extreme pain in a tooth and unable to get an appointment at a dental surgery, my daughter told me to call NHS24.

I was taken through a screening process and got an appointment for the next morning.

At the dental hospital the staff were so lovely, very professional and caring.

I had an infected tooth which was taken out and given good advice on after care plus info leaflet.

All done with minimum fuss for which I was very grateful as I have  really bad fear of needles.

I cannot praise the dental staff highly enough

Hi Nana H

I was very sorry to hear about your recent toothache and the pain that you were experiencing as I understand how difficult this can be to manage, therefore was pleased to hear that you have now had this situation resolved and I do hope that you are now feeling much better.

I was delighted to learn how satisfied your were with your dental journey and that the staff at the Public Dental Service - Emergency Dental Department were able to assist and make this a positive experience for you.

I will be sure to pass over your wonderful comments to the team as I know that they will be over the moon to learn how they helped you and supported you with this visit.

Many thanks

Catherine
