"The nurse and doctor couldn't do enough to put me at ease"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Pharmacy Daisy Hill Hospital / Rapid Access Clinic

(as the patient),

I had reason to visit the Rapid Access clinic and I felt obliged to share my experience. I was under the care of Dr Watt and nurse Joanne. When I arrived on level 3 I was taken on my appointment time. The nurse and doctor couldn't do enough to put me at ease, nothing was too much trouble.

After explaining my symptoms and why I had them the doctor advised a certain medication and explained how they might help. They both have my gratitude and thanks.

The only downside to my story is I called down to the pharmacy to collect my prescription, I waited a full 35 minutes to receive it and there was no one in front of me, Maybe this is normal but I expected to be served quicker.

I am sorry to make an issue of this but it spoilt an otherwise pleasant experience.

Hi Screwball,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience.

I am very reassured to hear you had a pleasant experience at our Rapid Access Clinic and I will be sure to share this with Dr Watt and Joanne.

It is very good to receive all feedback, the pleasant and the not so pleasant. I am unsure of all the processes in pharmacy dispensary particularly that which may account for your wait but I will feed this back to that service and provide a response.

Many thanks again for taking time to share with us.

Yvonne
