"Held my hand to reassure me"

About: Mid-Ulster Hospital / Endoscopy Suite

(as the patient),

I was in for a colonoscopy I knew what to expect but was still a bit anxious.

Ursula, Bill, Lorna, Stephen and Julie were the team looking after me and made my time there so much easier.

To name some details I appreciated:

Ursula got me blankets because I was cold, Lorna helped me during the procedure to reduce any discomfort, Stephen held my hand to reassured me, Bill brought humour yet professionalism and Julie was friendly and kind.

Together they were empathetic, respectful, communicated well, compassionate and caring. This made my experience a lot better.

Thank you all so much to the lovely people who cared for me.
