"I felt really heard and listened to"

About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Really positive experience, I felt really heard and listened to.

There was never any judgement or any awkwardness, everything felt safe and secure. I felt in a safe environment.

We went through things at my own pace and I never felt like I was rushed or forced to do anything I didn't want to do.

Initially I felt daunted that I'd have to come in every week and I was a little reluctant, but on reflection I realised how beneficial it was for me & to monitor my progress. And after a while I ended up looking forward to our sessions, especially when I felt I was getting better.

Karina was fantastic and I felt at ease from the get go. The Imaginary Exposure method was a very good thing to do and I trusted her when she suggested it, and it's the best thing I've done.

It has made me realise how vital this is and what an amazing service this is, I would recommend it to anyone struggling.
