"Kind Compassionate Approach"

About: Outpatients / Surgical assessment unit

(as a relative),

I attended a surgical outpatients appointment this morning at Bernish house in Daisy hill Hospital with my husband and wanted to compliment the kind compassionate approach of Mr. Mahmood. He took the time to explain scan results and next steps in an easy to understand manner. We felt cared for and were not rushed in any way.

The environment is very pleasant and the waiting area full of  noticeboards with lots of very useful health promotion information presented in an eye catching way. All of the staff we encountered on our visit were friendly and helpful.

It helps us to know that while in our care, you and your husband felt safe and secure. We work hard to make sure that everyone who visits our department has as positive an experience as possible.
