Following a few days of sickness at home a family member called an ambulance when my condition deteriorated.
The paramedics were so kind and got me to Hospital very fast where staff were waiting for me in resus. Once stabilised I was moved to ICU for 6 days and then to 1 north for a further 6 days.
All the nursing staff were so kind and respectful and kept my family up to date. A special mention goes to cardiologist Dr Grey, I have several teams of doctors treating genetic medical conditions and he contacted them all immediately to keep them in the loop, this put my mind at ease as my medical teams know my history.
I never once felt like I was being ignored and all my questions were answered thoroughly.
The doctors and nurses in Craigavon Area Hospital (CAH) saved my life and I’m eternally grateful
