"I was made to feel at ease immediately"

I was recently in this unit and from the moment I stepped into the department the care was all patient centred. I did not get the name of the male receptionist- he was our first contact in the department, your cheery disposition and authentic, courteous nature was just wonderful to be greeted with when I walked into the clinic (sorry I did not get your name).

I was looked after by student nurse Leon and staff nurse Morag (there were 2 other staff nurses, again sorry I do not remember your names). I was made to feel at ease immediately, everything was explained to me fully, I was given multiple occasions to ask questions or to clarify any issues.

Thanks also to Dr McLean (who did my procedure) and her team who also explained everything to me - you were all wonderful. I also got my results there and then before discharge- this was important for me and a surprise- I did not expect to get my results immediately after the procedure.

I had to wait a long time for this procedure, I can now understand why, as I have seen first hand how busy your unit is. Thank you
