I was seen by a doctor for 2.5 years who said there was nothing else they could do for me and just terminated all my appointments with me via letter instead of in-person and then just provided me with some generic medication and kept doubling it which made no difference to me what so ever.
I eventually went to a hospital in Plymouth. They had a look through all my scans and suggested it could be Motor Neurone Disease, they suggested some testing, I think it was a Lumbar Puncture test along with others, I asked if they could be done in Exeter because Plymouth is 40 miles away and I can't drive.
I had an appointment booked with the neurology team but they phoned me to say there was no longer a clinic for it anymore and they wouldn't say why.
This is quite distressing since, if I do actually have Motor Neurone Disease then I want to start getting treatment as soon as possible.
"They phoned to say the clinic no longer exists"
