(as a parent/guardian),

We have recently had a block of 4 Speech and Language Therapy appointments with Roisin from Dungannon, Thomas St.

She was able to spot the issue with her assessments with my daughter who spoke extremely fast and words would combine making it unclear.

Roisin worked on in session and sent home homework for us on syllable clapping, compound syllable and dropping first half or last half of the word.

She made it fun and used visual learning techniques.

I really felt Roisin knew our daughter and made some headway. I appreciate her help

Roisin is a very experienced clinician and I am delighted to hear that she has helped your daughter progress with her speech. It sounds like you have a great understanding of the specific details of the work Roisin carried out and the reasoning behind it. We really appreciate it when parents are actively involved in their child's intervention. Your involvement will continue to have an impact on your daughter's progress, long after her intervention block has been completed.

I am specially proud to hear that Roisin's sessions were fun and that she used visual learning techniques to help your daughter. We aim to individualise our sessions to suit each particular child and it is rewarding for us to have this approach affirmed by you.
