"A lump in my breast"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Mermaid Centre

(as a service user),

I was very frightened but when I met the volunteers and they were so jolly and offered us coffee I felt a bit better.

Then I met the nurses and technicians and the very kind Doctor and I felt so reassured.

They were so kind and such fun and yet so professional that I left the hospital feeling that my health problems were in very good hands indeed and I and my daughters thank them enormously.

Dear Triaha,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. I was so pleased to read about how the volunteers and the rest of the team at the Mermaid Centre helped you to feel reassured about your care and treatment. I am glad that this experience has meant that you have left feeling your health problems are in good hands.

I have already shared your lovely feedback with the Volunteers who were absolutely chuffed to receive it. I will also forward your feedback on to the Mermaid centre who I know will be equally happy to learn about your experience.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your story with us.

Best wishes,

Jess
