I had a very difficult, painful smear with my local GP surgery, so I was referred to Lisa at the Antrim Colposcopy or Smear Clinic for a more professional attempt (Antrim Area Hospital).
I was not looking forward to it because of my previous experiences, but Lisa was just amazing! Like a smear fairy God mother!!
Made me feel so relaxed and looked after. Lisa's friendly and professional expertise is like none other I have ever experienced - And I have had a lot of smears! Lisa made me feel extremely welcome and at ease. I felt no pain!
Lisa first heard my worries and previous experience, kept me fully informed at all times and was a miracle worker! Such incredible skills, knowledge, professionalism, warmth and friendliness. An incredibly invaluable asset in the service.
PS - I think Lisa deserves a pay rise and acknowledgement of her great work :)
