"Poor access"

About: Summercroft Surgery

I require a change to medication.

I start work at 7:00 then try and call at 8:00 but cannot get through.

I try various routes am blocked at every avenue. This is appalling 'service'. I have found reception staff to be obstructive and condescending. Though the nursing staff friendly and kind.

We cannot all sit at home waiting a phone call, I myself work in the NHS and my patients do not have the same problem contacting me for help.

We are sorry to hear that you feel you are being blocked in accessing the Surgery. If you are unable to get through on the phone you are able to request a call-back. This has proved to work well and is popular with patients who use it.

Please bear in mind that Reception staff are only able to offer appointments and services which are available at the time.

We're glad to hear that you did obtain an appointment with the Duty Doctor yesterday.
