"Dangerous chaos in ENT"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

Terrible experience. After a 17 month wait for a rhinoseptoplasty I was contacted to say it was going ahead. There followed many calls where the hospital arranged the operation and then cancelled. At one point this department sent a letter telling me to turn up at 7:30am at The Renal Unit, Hammersmith Hospital, for an operation on my nose. Obviously, they cancelled that one too.

I requested a particular doctor because I had seen them before in clinic.

When I eventually attended for the operation, the hospital lied about the surgeon. I got an inexperienced surgeon I'd never met before and, despite all the confirmations of what operation I was having, they carried out a procedure I hadn't consented to.

An extremely dangerous ENT department.
