I had a baby well over 1 year ago and I had terrific support from my health visitor, Carmel. She was very down to earth and friendly. She had a very practical approach and was never in a hurry during her appointments.

She gave me great advice and support and it’s down to this that I succeeded in breastfeeding up to 9 months. I felt very lucky to have Carmel as my health visitor. The rest of the HV team in Ballygawley were really lovely and I greatly appreciate their input also.

Thank you for sharing your positive relationship with Carmel your Health Visitor and also with the team, Our Health Visitors have a wide range of knowledge and experience relating to babies and children and their families, therefore it is lovely to hear about how you benefited from this and the support of the Ballygawley Health Visiting Team. Our Health Visitors are accredited in support and promote breastfeeding as this give babies a good stat in life and it is good to hear that this was a help to you.
