"Life after loss"

About: Adult Mental Health Services - Community (County) / IPS Future's Positive Adult Mental Health Services - Community (County) / Mansfield Local Mental Health Team (LMHT)

(as a service user),

After the death of my soulmate my depression got significantly worse and I took an overdose. This was the lowest part of my life.

I have been off work sick since early 2023 and after discussing my work situation I was referred to IPS and met Claire.

Claire has come and helped me to understand the sickness procedure and decide if I want to return back to work. Through our sessions I have learnt that due to physical limitations this now isn't possible. However, Claire has said that when I am ready she will happily help me find a job that's right for me.

I am hopeful that with Sara (CCO) I can focus on my recovery and hopefully one day feel happy again.

I am so glad that Claire and Sara are able to support you within your recovery journey, and with finding suitable employment. I will make sure that both Claire and Sara receive your feedback, as Local Mental Health Teams we are really grateful for feedback, it has such a positive impact on the team and clinician's within it.
