My father was seen in his home on 3-4 occasions by an Occupational Therapist from the mental health services for older people.
She was extremely helpful and found solutions for difficulties Dad was having. She has arranged for a physio to come and see Dad, she arranged for his alarm pendant to be changed to a wrist pedant which he prefers and now wears all the time. She has obtained a trolley which Dad can wheel his breakfast to the lounge. She showed my Dad how to use the bath lift.
She was very patient and also spoke to dad about his mood and understood he is missing his wife who is in a care home.
It was a pleasure to feel someone was taking the time to really help Dad.
Thank you.
