I found myself unable to stand or hold myself straight.   After immediate help from two neighbours to at least get me on a chair, the ambulance crew arrived. 

They assessed the immediate needs and got me ready for transport to Ninewells Hospital. They suggested that instead of going to Accident and Emergency we go straight to Ward 15 where I would end up anyway. 

After hospitalisation for two nights, I am now home and the cause of the crisis is not fully known. 

What was beyond doubt though was the care of the two paramedics, and their desire not only to help me but to leave the  house in as good a state as they could. First class care.

Thank you for taking the time to post such positive feed back about the care you received from the Scottish Ambulance Service and in particular, our two paramedics who attended and helped you.

It must have been a really worrying experience for you and it's great to hear that your neighbours and our staff were able to make sure you were taken good care of.

The fact they were able to get you straight into Ward 15 and avoiding A&E must have made your experience so much better and really good to know you rate the whole experience as first class, our staff will be delighted to hear that.
