(as the patient),

I attended the TIA clinic after a referral from my GP who was concerned that I might have had a stroke  the previous week.

I was very nervous but was met by a very pleasant nurse, Shiela, who put me completely at ease.  She carried out the initial tests and then sent me into Dr Elamin, the consultant. He sent me for some scans and then took me back into his office and went over all my results in detail.

I cannot praise Shiela and Dr McElamin highly enough, they are such a professional team.
