(as a relative),

My granddaughter was born 20 days ago with a heart condition known as Tetralogy of Follett. This will require corrective surgery during her young life.

She was initially transferred to Bristol Children's hospital approx 12 hrs post birth, then again at day 20. The care she and her parents (and us, as Grandparents) has been exemplary. All processes have been explain and the staff have been professional, kind and compassionate.

The road ahead for my granddaughter is a long one, but we are all reassured that MPH NHS staff will continue to deliver fantastic care in support of our precious little granddaughter and we have such confidence in their abilities.

Dear guideht59

Thank you for taking the time to write us regarding you recent visit to the children's unit at MPH. I'm sure it has been a really worrying time for you all as a family, and hope that your Granddaughter is doing well now that you are at home.

I am so pleased that you have been so well taken care of throughout your time both here and in Bristol. We really strive to give the best possible care here at Musgrove and we are so lucky to have such a fantastic team of Dr's, Nurses, HCAs and Ward Assistants.

I will pass on your lovely message to the whole team here on the children's unit. I hope that your granddaughter's future surgeries go really well.

We are back in Brian Children's Hospital, but care continues to be outstanding
