I was admitted when I lost power in my legs, (full reason not known) and had to be admitted by ambulance.
The staff were caring, the doctors meticulous in trying to get to the heart of the problem, and relatively quickly things took a turn for the better and I got home.
In Ward 15 there is a constant inflow and outflow of patients, all of whom had greater needs than me and I marvelled at the way each one was looked after, sometimes receiving demanding care, and because there is little privacy I heard so much of the detailed exploration to get to the right diagnosis and forward action.
It enhanced my appreciation of the work of most of those engaged in patient care in our NHS. I just wanted to say thank you to all concerned and to wish all the best to the staff whom I got to know in casual conversations.
"Thank you to all concerned"
