I can single out staff members who I spoke to over the course of 4 successive visits to A&E accompanying my mother.

Desk: Erin and Sylwia (both extremely capable and hard working).

Nurses/orderlies: Shannon, Barbara, James, Stephen, Elaine, Ethan, Maria, Mark and Angel.

Doctors: Dr Banerji, Dr Timmis, Dr Badurudeen, Dr Moustafa and Dr Khan.

Core Speciality Doctor Adesina (very knowledgeable and caring).

Porter: Calvin

Waiting for X-ray seems to be the main cause of logjams in A&E and the long waits are frustrating for patients.

My view is that it’s just one of those things and NHS staff are doing their best given the resources.
