"I felt very safe in their hands"

I had a hospital stay of nearly three weeks, mostly in Ward 24 at Victoria Hospital. I cannot fault my care during this admission. Every single encounter I had during my stay was positive.

The nursing staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable and always treated me with respect and kindness. I loved hearing their chat and was impressed by the general positivity on the ward. 

The surgeon and medical staff were so thorough and their ongoing updates and candour were really appreciated. I felt very safe in their hands.
