"Put me completely at ease"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I had a colonoscopy at Ayr Hospital this week and the whole procedure went very smoothly. The nurses involved, Avril and Jennifer put me completely at ease and talked me through the procedure and I’ll never forget their kindness and their care. The Consultant, Mr Bhattacharya also put me completely at ease. I’ve always been of the opinion that the most priceless thing we have in this country is the NHS and that has been confirmed on this visit to Ayr Hospital.

I am glad to hear that you received such kind, professional and compassionate care from our staff. It’s often the small things that can make such a difference, such as a kind word or a smile and I am glad that our staff were able to put you at such ease whilst you were under their care.

It will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Department and in particular with Mr Bhattacharya, Avril and Jennifer. Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and I know they will be encouraged to know that you felt so well supported by them.
