Colonoscopy carried out recently. From being greeted at reception to being prepared for procedure, through the procedure and recovery everything was done so well.
At admission I was greeted by Roisin & Anita who explained in full the procedure and got me ready for the examination.
Cailin, who carried out the procedure, spoke with me before hand about the procedure, what was entailed, how it would be conducted and what to expect. She also took a great interest in my previous history.
In the procedure room Cailin was assisted by Catherine & Michaela, both very reassuring and competent in their roles throughout the procedure.
At the end of the procedure before going back to recovery Cailin took the time to explain in full what was done and what to expect over the coming days and weeks.
In recovery I was greeted by Rachel, Amy & Jenny who looked after me extremely ensuring that I was fully recovered before I left. Rachel gave me documentation on what to do if I had any side effects after the procedure as the day progressed.
Overall a very positive experience in this facility.
