I have a condition in my shoulder that has gradually worsened over the last few months.

I phoned for an appointment just after 8:30am and abandoned my call 25 minutes later. I tried again a week later and was connected to reception 5 minutes later. She asked me if my condition was urgent and, in my opinion it was not, so I replied no. She then told me no appointments were available and to phone back the next day to see if any new appointments were available.

I am slowly loosing the use of my left arm and am not sure when this becomes urgent but she made no attempt to quantify my condition before sending me away or deciding whether I needed to speak to doctor.

I have used this GP practice for 40 years and feel completely let down by the lack of empathy shown to an OAP.
