"Why is it impossible book an appointment"

There's misleading information as to using the online booking system for GP appointments. No pre-bookable appointments are ever available or released as far as I can tell on the patient access app other than asthma, B12, bloods and healthchecks. So how does one go about booking an appointment, I'd like to know?

Dear Patient. As like all NHS services we are managing a high demand and appointments do get booked quickly. However, I can assure you that appointments are released every day for routine booking. i.e. every Monday for the Monday after, every Tuesday for the Tuesday after and so forth. This is so we can ensure that there are available appoints every day with ALL clinicians. If you have an issue that is to urgent and cannot wait (on the day emergency) you can contact the practice and ask to speak with a GP who will triage your issues first and then book an appointment if necessary.
