Following a nasty experience of sudden loss of balance, vomiting and being unable to get off the floor, my mum was assessed by paramedics and then taken to hospital.
They were calming, empathetic and professional and kept me updated.
When she didn't want to go to hospital they provided a reasoned explanation and treated her as an individual and this helped her to agree to be admitted, and she is still in hospital.
I thought they were a credit to their profession (I didn't catch their names).
