When my optometrist referred me to SpaMedica I didn't know what to expect – but I must say I'm delighted. Less than four weeks from referral to first appointment.

The clinic / hospital is very clean and well organised. Both at the pre-op appointment and at both procedures the staff explained what was happening and helped me along the way.

The operations themselves were quick and more or less painless – just a little stinging as the anaesthetic drops etc are administered.

At the start of the procedure the surgeon told me to move my eye by following his tracking light. It's similar to the optometrist's eye test procedure – and that's the hardest part of the whole process!
