About: Independent Living Centre

(as a relative),

Dad’s mobility health has deteriorated fast. We were new to all this, we didn’t know were to go, what to do etc.

We were given a stick, then bought a second hand walker, but we began thinking what else would be helpful.

This is when we found out about the Independent Living Centre. They were very helpful, welcoming, informative, supportive. Dad had an assessment with an occupational therapist, who asked dad questions, explored his difficulties. He was able to test drive indoor walkers, bed pull up supports.
