"The kindness and care I received was amazing"

The kindness and care I received from everyone I met in the department was amazing. From the reception staff checking up on me when I arrived to the team in the operating theatre doing their best to distract me. I was so scared and upset. Everyone listened to me and reassured me, rather than making me feel silly for making a fuss. Everything was carefully explained and it really felt as if my health and wellbeing was important to all the staff who treated me. I am so grateful to have been looked after so wonderfully. Thank you.
