About: Fife Community Services / Rapid Cancer Diagnostic Service (RCDS)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

After a GP referral I was contacted by the RCDS team and given an appointment to have a CT scan.  This was done unbelievably quickly and I  was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the process.  The staff are to be congratulated on their care and attention.  Everything was explained thoroughly and I was made to feel comfortable.  Ashley phoned me a couple days after my scan to say all was ok and I was clear of cancer -what a relief.  The service was second to none, my thanks to everyone.
