About: Antrim Area Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as a service user),

I was admitted for the planned repair of two Hernias in May 2024 and my whole experience from admission to discharge was totally great.

The care and expertise by all the staff and I stress the whole of the staff was exceptional and made my stay very comfortable and easy. I had no problems with any aspect of my care.

Hi Archiex24

My name is Annette Shaw and I am the manager of the Day Surgery Unit.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion on the care you received in the unit. I will pass on the staff your kind words as they try to make each patients journey as stress free and comfortable as possible.

Staff understand that patients are apprehensive about their surgery and they try to allay any worries or fears they may have. Wishing you all the best in your recovery.
