I visited Hairmyres Hospital Cardiac Cath Lab yesterday as a day patient for a coronary angiogram. I cannot thank all the staff enough for their care and attention and professionalism. It was a stressful time for me as I had never experienced anything like that before, but they put me at ease with their knowledge and professionalism and kindness. It turned out I had a big blockage in one of the arteried to my heart. They immediately put in a stent that fixed my problem. I am so grateful to everyone involved. Thank you.
I would also like to say thank you to my Practicioner nurse who a few weeks earlier sent me to Monklands Hospital for assessment after I experienced chest pains. I would also like to thank the Cardiac rapid assessment staff at Monklands hospital who quickly referred me to Hairmyers. All in all the NHS have been fantastic with me and probably saved me from a heart attack. God bless the NHS.
