About: Causeway Hospital / Early Pregnancy Unit

(as the patient),

I had an appointment to get a glucose test at 26 weeks pregnant. I arrived 5 minutes early and the midwife took me in spot on my appointment time.

She explained the process of what would be done and kept me informed. She came back on the hour for 2 hours after that like she had initially told me and at the end made me tea and toast making sure I wasn’t light headed or faint before leaving!

All in all a pleasant experience.
