Called yesterday for a appointment for my mom she had been seen last week and was told if symptoms or medication that was prescribed have no effect to call back in a week for a follow up the receptionist told me to call back the following morning at 8 to get a appointment as there was non left till next week that’s fine I understand the rules and regulations so I call today morning 8 am 15th in line spoke to the Receptionist voiced all concerns related to my moms health ect trying to get a appointment to be told tell her go a&e when her issues are not a accident nor an emergency that she needs to sit in a&e anyhow I said a appointment any time this week with any doctor will be fine she proceeded to tell me today 6:30 I thanked her and was relived my mom goes to the gp tells the receptionist she has arrived and the Receptionist abruptly tells her its not today it’s next week my mom continues and says no it’s today I spoke to you this morning the receptionist remembers the conversation and says no I booked it in next week you should have called at 8 like I told you my mom replied I was on the phone at 8 am and the was a que she interrupts and says well there’s other people calling you know my mom is very disheartened by this situation and this isn’t the first time that the receptionist have acted this way and I’m sure there are many story’s far worse then this one doctor not going to name names doesn’t have a clue how to prescribe medication to a 5 month old I’ll leave this here
