"A and E so busy"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

On arrival at a and e I was seen by a nurse and sent for an xray straight away.

While waiting for the results I noticed the sheer amount of people coming in.

Over 70 patients in the dept.

Some seriously ill.

Some people were waiting for plasters and paracetamol.

The public could help the staff by not going for such trivial things.

It's this that make the people who are poorly have to wait longer.

Staff were lovely to me under the strain of huge numbers.

When you have 300 people a day coming in it must be very hard to work in.
