"A really friendly atmosphere"

About: General Surgery / Surgical Unit

(as a service user),

Went for a laparoscopy sterilisation as a day case.

It was a really friendly atmosphere and due to the small size of the hospital it felt very personal.

Every staff member acknowledged me and constantly checked I was ok.  They were very thorough in all their paperwork checks and explained everything to me. Even the doctors and anesthesiologist came to introduce themselves and check up on me after. 

It was nice to not feel rushed and that they were wanting me out for the next patient like many other hospital experiences.
