"Utterly amazing with the utmost of care"

I had an Appointment with Nicola in the Prosthesis Clinic, fitting for a breast prosthesis.

I felt very welcomed by Kerry the head of Prosthetics , offered me a bottle of chilled water whilst I waited. 

Nicola had a very caring manner, measured me, looked at my scar area. 

Fitted me for a bra, then the prosthesis.

I didn’t realise I was going to get a bra too, blown away by the service. The prosthesis very very comfortable, it moulded to my body, it has the facility to inflate or deflate, just ingenious!

I couldn’t get over how good the match was to my remaining breast.  

I also received vouchers to spend in the catalogue, this was kindly donated from fundraising, a patients family cycled the NC500.

What an incredible achievement, huge thanks to the family!

I walked 5 miles after the fitting wearing the new bra and prosthesis. Very comfortable, the prosthesis stayed in place throughout, what a remarkable difference compared to the comfy supplied after the surgery which moved upwards whilst walking. 

Husband commented very good match too.

Very appreciative of the service NHS has provided, everyone I have come in contact with have been utterly amazing with the utmost of care.
