My son was in 6 nights to observe him after a change in his seizure activity. My son has complex needs and is non verbal.
All the staff were friendly and helpful on the ward. This included the auxiliaries, cleaners, play therapists, speech therapists, nurses, Dr Julian, Dr Peake, Dr Hanrahan and Dr T.
We went home achieving much more than we ever thought.
One thing that was missed was that the safe space bed was not offered on admission. This was not offered until day 4 when my wife requested help with my son.
