"Appointment"

About: Three Villages Medical Practice

filled out an online form on the 23rd Jan to request to have a steroid injection in my left knee (already had 4 done before) they sent me an email to say I had a message, sent me to their website and the message said I have a face to face appointment on 5th Feb at 11:45.

Had no reminder texts (which they are normally good at sending) so checked the email again today and could no longer read the message I called the reception to check my appointment and after waiting a long time on hold when there were only 3 before me and they said I don't have an appointment booked for Monday and I need to fill in another form at 8:00 Monday! Do you think this is acceptable?
