"My journey through Stroke"

About: Cameron Hospital / Recovery & rehabilitation Cameron Hospital / Stroke care

(as a service user),

I have no memory of having my Stroke, The Victoria started my recovery.

I was transferred to Cameron Hospital, Letham Ward. I was very excited about going there, as I knew it was great for Rehab .

I arrived at Letham with an NG , no voice and I couldn’t walk.

My Physio started from day one, they got me walking again and I never thought I would. They were firm and the banter was great.

Occupational Therapist were amazing at explaining everything I had to do.

The staff in the ward are all different but great, they all work together .

As a Rehab Ward it is amazing. After being on a restricted diet I loved my first slice of toast.

The cafe is lovely and the girls are so kind .

Don’t know what else to say but I’m walking out of here .
