"We found a reduction was best"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / No Wrong Door

(as a service user),

I was finding that l was drinking too much alcohol which was affecting my mental health and wellbeing.

With my support worker we found a reduction was best practice over a couple of months.

Hi.

Thank you for your positive feedback. It can be a real challenge to think about being without alcohol altogether, when it has played an important role in your life.

I'm pleased to hear that you were helped to recognise the negative impact that this was having on your mental health, and that you took the courageous step of reducing your alcohol with the help of your Key Worker.

Best of luck in your continuing journey in managing both your alcohol use and your mental health.

Chris
