About: Mid Hampshire Community Therapy Team

(as a service user),

I had a Stroke last year, and the therapy team at the hospital referred me to the Winchester Community Therapy Team.

I had support from Vel and Maria, the Physios. They were very good, very kind and lovely and caring, and gave me exercise's that were appropriate to my condition.

The Therapy Team were lovely. Unfortunately I did not get physio until 6 months after my stroke as my referral did not get through to the Therapy Team from the hospital. An earlier start to physio would have helped with my rehab.
