"Efficient and thorough"

About: General practices in Fife Queen Margaret Hospital / Breast care service

(as a service user),

I found a lump in my breast on a Tuesday evening.  I called High Valleyfield Surgery first thing in the morning and the receptionist kindly checked and managed to fit me in to be seen at 9am that day.  The doctor was lovely and did an urgent referral for me to the Breast Clinic.

Just 2 days later I got a phone call saying there was a cancellation and if I could attend clinic in the next 30 minutes I would be seen.

At Queen Margaret Hospital the receptionist, health care support worker, consultant and all in the radiology department were friendly, efficient and thorough.  I was fortunate to be told that all was well at this time.  What an incredible example of amazing services within NHS Fife - thank you.
