"Good experience"

I was very impressed by the care and friendlness of all the staff at SpaMedica, Exeter. The nursing staff were excellent (and I am a retired ward Sister!). They noted I was anxious and so a nurse sat in with me each time which was a real help. The operation was very well executed and I was not anxious at all as it proceeded. The surgeon explained everything to me both times.

In all, it isn't ever going to be a 'pleasant' experience, but it was so well organised and I was made to feel so welcome and safe that I would recommend the staff there to anyone who was nervous about having a cataract done.

The post-operative care is well documented in a booklet and I was touched that the following day a nurse rang to check all was well.

In all I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you.
