About: Musgrave Park Hospital / Day Procedure Unit - Withers 5A Musgrave Park Hospital / Ward 6A

(as a service user),

I recently had my hip replacement surgery in Musgrave.

Admitted on the day of surgery at 7.15am, the pre-op experience was fast, efficient & greatly reassuring to someone like me having their first ever surgery.

I had a spinal anaesthetic with some mild sedation, although I slept through everything.

I recovered in Ward 6A, where the care & attention I received from nursing staff was excellent. There were many attentive staff whose names now escape me but I was especially grateful to Joyce for her empathetic understanding.
