"So lucky to have this service on our doorstep"

About: Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre / Minor Injuries

(as a service user),

I took my mum to our minor injury unit at Whitehills in Forfar after she cut her leg. The Nurses (Bertie and Donna) and HCA (Lorraine) were so kind and professional. They saw us promptly and cleaned and paper stitched the wound.

We left with instructions to come back the following day to have the wound checked.

So lucky to have this service on our doorstep in Angus. Well done Team MIU!

Hello asteropehy45,

Thank you for taking the time to post your story on Care Opinion. The feedback we receive helps us to review and improve our service so is very much appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear that your mum sustained a cut to her leg but glad that she received prompt treatment and was treated with kindness and professionalism. I hope her wound is healing well and not giving her cause for concern.

I will gladly pass on your lovely comments to the staff within Whitehills MIU and agree that it is good for Angus residents to have this service on their doorstep.

Thank you again.
