On admission to unit everything was explained to me, prior to operation, all paperwork completed. I was made at ease throughout my appointment.
My operation went very well ,all theatre staff were very friendly and welcoming. The anaesthetist discussed procedure fully with me prior to operation, the surgeon also welcomed me and put me at ease in the theatre.
All theatre staff were very welcoming and reassuring prior to and following my operation. Following my operation the ward staff were very good and welcomed me back into the ward. I needed extra analgesic which was given to me at regular intervals.
The surgeon visited me on the ward also the anaesthetist to check I was ok. I was given adequate information and medication on my discharge from the ward.
Overall I stayed 1 night in the NTC unit and my experience was very positive throughout.
