"They provided excellent care"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was injured at hurling and advised to attend the ENP service in Causeway Hospital we arrived after 830pm were seen promptly send for xray.

No fractures but needed 10 stitches by Finbar with the help of Emma and Margaret the Hca. They provided excellent care and even stayed after they should have been away home. He was discharged with verbal and written written advice which was excellent as my husband had attended with him and I knew exactly what care was required after.

Hello Miclec77

My name is Victoria McCrory and I am the Assistant Clinical Services Manager for Causeway ED. Thank you for taking the time to leave this positive feedback about your recent experience. I am delighted to hear that your son received a high standard of care from our ENP team.

Positive feedback plays a vital role in improving the morale of staff within the department and reminds them of the fantastic care they continue to provide, despite the pressures they are under.

I will ensure that your feedback is passed onto all staff mentioned, and shared with the wider department.

I hope your son is continuing to make a speedy recovery, and I have no doubt he will be out playing hurling again soon.

Yours Sincerley

Victoria McCrory
